Apricity is an exciting new restaurant by Chantelle Nicholson, formerly chef owner of Tredwells (Green michelin star winner 2021) and All’s Well, a pandemic-pop-up, born to save jobs. Sustainability is at the beating heart of the restaurant, not only for the planet but for our team and wider community. The wellbeing of the team is our utmost priority and all of our decisions are made with them at the forefront.
Our menus change often, highlighting the best of seasonal British produce. We pickle, ferment, grow and preserve. Our wines are carefully selected to showcase natural, low-intervention and unique styles that are made with respect to the environment. Hospitality life can be full on, so we offer mental health support via Hospitality Action, via our Mental Health First aiders and through training of all members of staff. We give individual focus on career progression and create a unique plan dedicated to each person, followed up by structured reviews. We offer ongoing learning and development in house, and provide support for external training through Apprenticeship schemes and WSET. We’re rather social and organise regular meet-ups, vineyard trips and supplier talks.

We feel it’s the right time to remove ourselves from a broken system. After the much needed shake-up our industry received from the pandemic, we have decided to pay our team a full salary, not one which fluctuates uncontrollably. For our guests, this means all food and beverage pricing is as listed, with nothing added on top of their bill.This means our team knows exactly what they receive every month, making it easier to plan, budget and enjoy their livelihood. It’s one more step we’re taking towards hospitality being seen as the valued career that it deserves to be. We also believe in paying fair salaries, so we pay above the London Living Wage.
